What is hypnotherapy?
Am I being recorded?
I ask your permission to record each session for your own benefit. The recorded portion begins the moment you relax into hypnosis and ends when you return back to your full and regular waking consciousness. Listening to the recording multiple times is recommended and will amplify the positive effects of your transformation.
Am I under your spell?
Hypnotherapists have no control over you whatsoever. I cannot make you do or say anything you do not want to (or wouldn't normally). You are completely conscious throughout the session and in control of your behavior.
Do I remember everything?
Yes, it is highly likely that you will remember the entire session as you are conscious throughout. If anything slips your mind momentarily, you always have the recording of your session to refer to.
Imagine a perfect blend between deep meditation with dream-like sensations, and a great therapy session. Hypnosis is a natural, altered state where your mind and body are completely relaxed. In this state, your subconscious is open to look at internal content, and also receptive to powerful, positive suggestions, affirmations, and re-framing, which is known as hypnotherapy.
My priority is to get my clients as comfortable and relaxed as possible so that they are willing to open up and look at their inner content. Many first-time clients come with common questions regarding hypnotherapy. I have listed them in the Q&A below.
Can hypnotherapy help clear my specific issue?
The root of your issue is a belief that needs to be listened to, understood, and transformed to blend perfectly with your highest intention - which is what we do in hypnotherapy. That being said, I am confident hypnotherapy can help clear virtually anything with time, effort, belief, and your willingness to shift your issue. At the very least, hypnosis will provide you with a profound sense of relaxation, creating the perfect first step - opportunities for clarity. Below, I've listed some common issues worked on through hypnotherapy, but the true list is endless.
